I agree with Jeff on these, Roach is too overrated. Cotto beat a one leg Martinez and as a boxing fan I'm not impressed at all. He's style of too much heavy sparring damage Pac. Freddie should retire by now, he has earned a lot of money from Pac and he turned out to be very arrogant.

Jeff just trying to do some gushing over Floydie so he can make a few more bucks from TMT. Can't blame him, but leaning on the Cotto/Martinez story as an example is kinda lame. That's just an extreme example, not indicative of what Roach has accomplished at all. Freddie has faults... he talks too much being at the top of the list, but he has improved a bunch of fighters thru the years, no denying it.

And as for the Pac reference, a boxing fan would have to be way too much a Floydie fanboy or fangirl to not see the reality of the situation. Floydie did one or all of 4 things for his last 15-20 bouts... he either cherry picked, waited em out til they had dropped a notch in skill, juiced, or ducked his way to the fake GOAT moniker some give him. End of story.

Roach is a hell of a trainer. Multiple champions.

And the Manny Floyd fought was a shell of the Manny he would have fought in 2009.

Anyone who says different is full of it.

Roach has trained too many successful world champions to call him overrated. If he's overrated, all other trainers in the game today are straight up garbage. Screw the politics; Roach is legit.

The Floyd that Manny fought was a shell of himself as well. Floyd was at his best pre 147.

If the fight took place 5 yrs ago itd have been an easier W for Floyd.

He beat Pac when he was P4P #2.

Get over it man, you look pathetic.

Pac certainly wasn't prime. Nor was Floyd for that matter. I mean Floyd retired his next fight and Pac is about to retire as well. A shame they didn't do it 4-5 years prior.

It really is a shame, but the fact that it didn't happen over drug testing is just as shameful.
