roach is a good trainer,not a great one. a great trainer accepts responsibility when his fighter loses. Roach always blames it on the fighter when it was roach's fight plan.

Roach has trained too many successful world champions to call him overrated. If he's overrated, all other trainers in the game today are straight up garbage. Screw the politics; Roach is legit.

Most of his champs came from someone else and were already doing there thing. He trained with Futch so he has to know somethings, but the way the boxing media treat him, as if his knowledge and tutelage have no equal, is overboard.

I didn't read the article yet, but I've been saying this for years....Roach has all the trappings for it.....he is white.....****** as a fighter himself......got schooled by one of the all time great trainers, eddie futch, whose clout is why Roach even got clients...he has the same disease as one of the most beloved athletes ever(ample room for pity party and undeserving accolades)....his most known client Pacquaio was supposed to rid the world of the bad guy or the evil one in Mayweather



The American media has been pumping him up since the early 2000s and before or since then, he still has built or made a champion

All his fighters already have a foundation and were champions or contenders before he got them



He is overrated as **** and other trainers deserved trainer of the year most the years he got it
