GGG never fought any SMW champion & never been ranked there... He simply had no business there and never stepped into Ward's 168' thone... Never had any belts there.


While Canelo beats Cotto & became Lineal, Ring Magazine, WBC middleweight champion then ask 155' limit catchweight to fight another Middleweight champion (GGG). Knowing that GGG is mandatory.

What is this 'demand' GGG made of Ward? The 164 was not a 'demand' - no negotiations were taking place, it was a response, by Sanchez, to a hypothetical question. All we know of any actual negotiations are that Ward refused an offer apparently during 2014 (presumably due to his ongoing litigation issues) and that Loeffler refused an offer from Ward a few months ago (presumably due to GGGs prior commitments and options as a mandatory to the WBC slot) - no catchweight was mentioned in either case.

And refering to 'Golovtards' as some kind of ****genous entity is completely wrong in the case of the Canelo catchweight issue - there is actually a wide range of opinions on the issue from fans and non-fans alike. The consensus on the site as a whole seems to be that the fight should take place at the MW limit, but that Golovkins' and the fans' interest would be best served by accepting at least a moderate CW if that is what Canelo demands to make the fight happen.
