  • GGG is not being ducked. Stop the B.S.

Every time his chance to fight for the belt has come up he has agreed to take money in order to avoid the fight. People automatically assume a champion would drop the belt to avoid fighting GGG. That's not true. That belt is important to them, that's why they offer him money in order to keep the belt while they fight for higher paydays. If GGG would reject the money and force the fight and they vacate then you can say he's being ducked. As of now he's accepting money in to not fight. He stepped aside for Daniel freakin Geal , a guy he'd already torched, and took money again to allow Cotto to fight Canelo and is about to take money again to allow Canelo to fight someone else. Why is GGG taking money to avoid fighting the champ when it's his turn?

Me: Do you want to fight me?

    GGG: Yes

Me: Will you accept $800,000 to avoid fighting me?

    GGG: Yes

Little G agrees not to fight and his fans claim duck. They are obviously a little slow.

He tells them he's concentrating on unifying the division and they believe him.

No you goober he takes money and steps aside because he knows if he doesn't play ball he won't get the fight. He wasn't getting the Cotto fight unless Cotto wanted the fight and as of now he isn't getting Nelo unless Nelo wants the fight. So best to play ball. Take the step aside money and still have that mandatory afterwards. Or he can be an idiot, refuse free step aside money, guarantee the others to drop the belt, lose out on big step aside money and your mandatory position.

He was supposed to get Cotto in June 2015, he didn't get it

He was supposed to get Cotto next fight after the June 2015 fight, he didn't get it

He was supposed to get Canelo after he beat Cotto, he didn't get it.

Is he really stepping aside to get the fight? Or is he taking money to avoid the fight?

Shortly after that BS (when Cotto lost to Canelo) LIL G said he was still targeting Cotto. If some Russian shlub held the WBC strap, and the Cotto fight was offered to LIL G, LIL G would come crawling to Cotto like the fraud he is. Lil Fraud.

He's taking step aside money because he isn't getting the fight regardless.

Again he wasn't getting Cotto no matter what the WBC would have mandated he wouldn't have gotten Cotto. It took Canelo damn near 2 years to get Cotto and Nelo is a much bigger name than GGG. Ggg knew his only chance to get Cotto was to play ball and remain the mandatory. Had he declined the step aside, all Cotto would have done was drop the belt.

Same thing is happening with Canelo here. After the weak PPV's by GGG in against Lemieux, Oscar who was already hesitant to make a Canelo vs GGG fight probably told GGGs team they can either take a tune up or go F themselves.
