GGG and Kovalev are both great fighters. But as of now GGG is the master and Kovalev is the student. That might change one day but it is what it is.

Kovalev is a superior fighter with an even more superior resume.

He has a superior resume, but I disagree about being a superior fighter. I get the feeling that he is more vulnerable than GGG. I just have a weird feeling that his chin is not great. I feel as soon as someone can weather his early storm and has enough left in the tank they can get him. Pascal was rocking him, but Pascal has always had stamina issues.

Golovking also dared to be great. What did Kovalev do to be great? did he move up to CW? no, he's a natural LHW. Golovkin is a natural MW and he's always fought the best in 160 and never avoided anyone. So I think it's safe to say that both had the same attitude.

Golovkin dared to duck any great fighters that came his way. Kovalev's resume is sort of anyone impressive but it's still a sight better than Genady.
