The Real Reason Why Nikolai Valuev is Better Than Roberto Duran

Because he couldn't beat Nikolai Valuev in a boxing match, especially a prime Valuev. It's just that simple.

In my opinion, to be the 'best' of anything concerning fighting, you have to be able to defeat EVERYBODY, no matter what their size, weight, or strength is. Imagine someone walking around on the street saying that they were the greatest fighter in the world or the baddest person in the world. You would naturally interpret them as meaning that they could beat anyone and everyone that they came across. If they were to then say that "No, I mean I'm the greatest fighter or the baddest person in the world when fighting guys that are only my same size and weight", you would . Because that's not truly being the best fighter in the world then, is it?

Valuev was a HEAVYWEIGHT. So we know he can stand toe to toe with smaller boxers as well as the big ones. Can Duran, at his size, defeat Nikolai Valuev, whether it be the 1990's Valuev or the 2000's Valuev? If not, then how can be 'better'?

Dude... This is just a repeat of what you said earlier using other people as examples. Where's the creativity?

But I think Pacquiao could beat Deontay Wilder.

His boxing skills, speed are too good. He would land hard flush shots on Wilder and probably Ko him late.
Yep Manny would beat his nutt sack up that all he could land flush on

                    What?

We only have the heavyweight version of Ali from that time frame to compare with the welterweight version of Mayweather, so yes, that is the only comparison that can be made. And that version of Ali could beat any version of Mayweather that we've ever seen perform in a boxing ring, thus making him (in my eyes) the better boxer.
So Julius Long is greater then Juan Manuel Marquez??? since he is 7 feet tall?
