I think the form of your question is wrong.

    It should have been

Rosado deserves this shot at Canelo! He does!

The only top champion that is immune from criticism for taking low ranked, easy opponents is the man himself, GGG.

He started his 'reign' with a vacant title against an unranked, unheard of, nobody and gets heaped with massive praise for stepping up his competition every now and then to what are standard, every day opponents for most other fighters.

Considering that Canelo had faced better competition in just the last few years, as a new champ in his early 20s, than his possible opponent has in his ten years as champion into his mid thirties, taking an easier stay busy fight shouldn't get him any ****.

I've never seen any problem whatsoever with champs taking one stay busy, skill building, test kind of fight for every proper, legitimately ranked title fight they have. Sadly, even that practice often gets frowned upon these days and it's why we don't see a lot of those same skills being built up anymore.

Yea that makes no sense. Mayweather had the far tougher schedule, the bether career, was older and had just come off fighting the #2 or 3 p4p fighter. And Berto, for all his faults Is STILL better than Rosado. But let's be ****** and say ****** ****.

Sure, and Rosado is a shot never-was. Point being mayweather fighting Berto after a stellar 15 year career does not justify Canelo doing anything.

Rosado wasn't a great pick for GGG either, I guess he is at least coming off of a decent win this time.

Idk Canelo don't need to fight one of the best at MW per se... Couldn't be mad at him for making this fight. But I'd much prefer Rosado get another winnable fight doe.

if he actually fights golovkin afterwards at 157+ then i won't hold it against him. it's not something that i'm going to stay up for though
