So Mayweather is a bum then? I don't remember him stopping guys in the first round.

I find myself a little amused by the TSs apparent outrage at the supposed smear on the reputations of Hagler and Monzon - as if anything GGG does will somehow tarnish their legendary status. C'mon TS - you start GGG bashing threads every day, why do you need a fig leaf now? Nice touch including Hopkins' reign though - makes it look more objective and less agenda driven.
I don't even be on this board everyday....I stated facts not my opinion bro.....people need to stop making up records.

There is no agenda. you tell me how many defenses GGG has for a title he won in the ring? Better yet how many defenses of the lineal middleweight title.....im sure you don't know, but the answer is 0

Facts are facts on earth and mars

In the last 48 months of his career, Mayweather has beaten the #1 and #2 guys @ 154 and the best 147lb'er in the world not named Floyd Mayweather.

          Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin beaten?

No agenda, merely expressing amusement at the TSs sudden urge to save the reputation of boxing from the evil that is Golovkin. FWIW I agree that the length Golovkins' title run is very questionable, I just don't give a damn, I don't think that the casuals who the TS purports to be saving from ignorance give a damn and I don't think you really give a damn. But I'm just an old cynic and I may be doing you and the TS a disservice.

Or you don't think that an article on ESPN [market cap: 50busd] with quotes from VP of HBO are "official" enough?

Seriously, that ***** farm is calling you.

GGG has zero defenses, so what? is that a bad thing?

Men these guys just give too much attention to the media and die hard fans.

I don't give a f.uck about numbers of defenses... and you come here whith a thread and expect us to try to defend that, is pathetic.

Well, we all know you don't like Golovkin, and that is ok, So now go and make the Ward a Lara thread, for you to be relaxed.

What "quotes"? Provide a link to said "quotes" from the VP of HBO or STFU...

Yes, he has 15 defenses so 5 wins more to b-hop's record

Hagler and Monzon were the lineal champions and undisputed their reigns and Hagler had 12 defenses and Monzon had 14....their were alphabet titles back then too and people act like their wasn't

Monzon beat hall of famer Nino Benvenuti who was lineal/wbc and wba title in 1970...IN THE RING....was stripped of the wbc in '74 and won it back by beating title holder Valdez and ended his career with a rematch.....he had 14 total defenses

Hagler beat Allan Minter for the linea/ Ring/ wbc and WBA titles...IN THE RING....won the vacant ibf in 83 and lost the lineal title to Leonard after 12 defenses

I hate when people make up records to try and pump up a fighters resume.....Just like Hopkins, he has 20 IBF defenses at 160 but only 6 lineal/undisputed title defenses, therefore he holds no record....ITS A DISSERVICE TO THESE TWO ALL TIME GREATS TO MAKE FAKE RECORDS OF HOPKINS AND GGG
