Well, the fight was held in the US where it was televised on PPV - and the US audience, to whom the fight was pitched and promoted, didn't give two ****s about the fight...

Ok. Tell us exactly which win on Bumlovkin's resume is better than Jacobs KO1 Quillin. The floor is yours...

If Bumlovkin were a bigger draw [ie the object of the public's demand] then he would have already gotten his 160lb lineal championship fight. 97k PPVs buys says that the public doesn't give a **** about the Triple Duck...
That is precisely the attitude which has killed boxing as a mainstream sport in the USA.

GGG has been the best for some time now.
Sergio returns and fights a junior middle to avoid GGG, he lost!
The new champ Cotto avoids him to fight the "purse" and then he lost!
The "new" champ wantes the best to weigh in below the Middleweight limit!
Another dodge and more fear for fighting the best Middleweight who is GGG!
The fact that no one wants this guy is statement enough.
Canelo vs GGG is the best fight avalible, why Canelo doesn't shoot for it is beyond me. He has a loss so theres BS about being undefeated and if he boxes his azz off he might get by him.

And here we see the Bumlovkinite two faced double standard on display for the whole of the world to see.

Bumlovkinites LOVE to complain about everyone ducking their guy - but can't do the same when it's Bumlovkin who is doing the ducking.

Cotto Canelo was a big money fight. Cotto Bumlovkin or Canelo Bumlovkin ISN'T. Canelo isn't fighting Bumlovkin for the exact same reason Bumlovkin isn't fighting Andre Ward. Those are NOT "big" fights. Alvarez can make as much or more money fighting someone other than Bumlovkin. Bumlovkin can make as much or more money fighting someone other than Andre Ward. However, in the eyes of Bumlovkinites - Alvarez is ducking Bumlovkin but Bumlovkin not fight Ward is "good business".

              BULL****.

A duck is a duck and Bumlovkin DUCKED Ward. Period, end of....

LMAO, guy is asking for official numbers while quoting 97k. Oh the irony.

Naysayer, that's quite a ***** collection you got there. Perhaps stick to that hobby? Talking out of your ass while recycling the same lame insult every post isn't working out too well for ya.

Good post. NSB is probably the worst of the worst, besides maybe a few absolutely ******ed facebook boxing groups (no doubt started by members here).

It's funny how I hear "Golovkin fans are why we hate Golovkin" and stuff like that, but to be honest there seems to be way more negativity by groups of people who constantly talk bad about him any chance they get. You can't have a decent Golovkin conversion on here anymore.

As far as OP is concerned, Monzon fought in a time when there were only two belts. Much easier to unify. Compared to Hopkins four belt era and now Golovkin's 6 belt era (including "regular" & "super").
