There's a certain school of posters that refuse to believe he hasn't been outweighed by as much as 17lbs in the ring. One of those nutters tried to claim it was 2-3lbs at most.

I think even at 154 it might be. Because PAC was coming off of a ko loss and smaller

Biggest fight for Floyd is the winner of GGG-Canelo

Ring belt, lineal recognition, and sixth weight division

        OR

Pacquiao II for maybe 70-80% of the first fight's revenue??

No, because he's been there and done that. He has absolutely nothing to prove at this point because P4P he's challenged and defeated stiffer challengers than Triple G throughout his 19 year career span.

Therefore, he has had his time. So this is GGG's time to prove himself by making a legendary name for himself by challenging and defeating the best contemporary opponents of his era like Mayweather did.

Don't be deluded he hasn't taken stiffer challenges, he never fought people in their primes so how does anything u say make sense?

I'm only comparing resumes here and I just don't see any notable names or anyone as nearly as good on GGG's resume as opposed to Floyd Mayweather's resume.

Besides, Mayweather has jumped five weight divisions in his career in order to challenge some of or not the best, biggest, credible and most notable opponents in his career; While on the other hand, Golovkin refuses so much as to jump up one weight class for a single fight with Andre Ward at 168 before moving back down to 160 without a catchweight.

Absolutely. being 147,154 fighter and beating Golovkin would be huge.
If he is to do that I would consider Floyd being GOAT.

Your creating a fantasy fight Mayweather has the same chance at beating GGG as beating Deontay Wilder

I don't think it would be a win over his best opponent, but I believe it would be his best win, if it happened at 160. You factor in the size difference, where the two fighters are at in their careers, the aura GGG has atm, and it basicly ****s on every argument people make to discredit Floyd's career.
