The best name on his record Stiverne who has beaten nobody but a shot to pieces Arreola and look how he's done since then.

Considering he's WBC Heavyweight champ, his level of competition is very bad.

People are biased, if you look at the HW division objectively you'll see the truth.

-Tyson Fury, HW Champion of the world. Dropped by a blown up feather fisted cruiser, Cunningham, dropped by Pajkic, rocked by Abell, Chisora, etc.

If that was Wilder getting rocked and dropped by those types of fighters I can just imagine the hate he'd get.

-Povetkin, went life and death with blown up protected (now exposed) CW Marco Huck, struggled against Chagaev, struggled against Takam, but everyone's on his sack because he KO'd Perez who didn't even train properly for the fight.

Both Fury and Jennings did levels better against Wlad than the 1 dimensional Povetkin, he got blown out of the water.

These are considered the very elite of the division lol.

Wilder has completely dominated his competition. Duahapaus is better than Wach and nobody gives Wilder credit for it.

It's definitely the level of competition that keeps people from buying in just yet. I think he's probably the heavyweight with the most entertaining style to watch though. He's a great inside fighter, which is unexpected considering his length. Plus he's got tremendous power. He does swing a bit wide and maybe have a questionable chin, but vulnerability doesn't make for bad tv now, does it? He's probably my favorite Haymon fighter.

The boxing establishment loves stiffs like David Price, it has no time for people like Wilder, who came up on his own and started late. Like any other entrenched power structure, it can't handle it when it's not the one making all the decisions. It's the same reason they can't stand Haymon.

Wilder is easily a top 4 HW in the world and quite possibly No 1. People make much of his resume but Fury's best win pre-Wlad was Del Boy Chisora, who is a mediocre past-it headcase, and his next opponent is Jennings' best win. There is simply no reason to be so hateful to Wilder at this point..
He an obnoxious fool with a big mouth. Not content being a cherry picking paper champ, he has the gall to try to want everyone to believe he's the number one guy in the division without having the stones to back it up. He's deluded and arrogant and quite possibly a huge fraud. There's nothing that complex about people's disdain for him.

Erm, do you really want to go there with some of the fighters who've hurt Wilder?

Joseph Parker has completely dominated his competition as well. Doesn't really say much, does it?

The last time he was put on his ass he was barely 2 years into his pro career after a handful of amateur fights, he's not the same fighter at all. Fury got dropped 2 years ago against a cruiser lol.

The only fighter that has really hurt him recently was Molina, however everybody ignores how their feet got tangled up making it look worse than it actually was. Molina isn't exactly feather fisted either, he nearly KO'd Arreola in round 1 before getting caught himself.

Joseph Parker has completely dominated his competition as well. Doesn't really say much, does it?
Stiverne was a top 5 HW and one of the hardest hitters in the division, Wilder dominated him with a broken hand, which of course, everybody ignores. But if that was another fighter, they'd be a warrior lmao

Duhapaus>Wach, again, Wilder gets no credit for this victory, people act like Duahapaus was a complete bum when he's proven to be better than Wach.

Nobody even wants to give Wilder credit for beating Scott a top 10 HW, he lost out on MILLIONS, people have yet to explain how he's benefited from "taking a dive"

Cunningham and Chisora are better than anyone Wilder has faced in his entire career, and Fury beat Wlad Klitschko to win his titles. Wilder beat Stiverne, probably the poorest HW title holder since John Ruiz.
