Unless you're Pacquiao, Cotto or Canelo, you aren't seeing anything above $3m for a Floyd fight.
The Brook fight could earn him in excess of $10m now.

berto earned 4 million according to my sources. he's a haymon fighter, and it looked like he was promised / was being groomed for the floyd fight several times but blew it. PPV % are rarely, if ever disclosed to the degree that i'm confident about them. ortiz reported making 5 million + from the mayweather fight, etc, in spite of a 2 million garantee.
i don't think it's unreasonable to assume that khan will earn more for a garantee than berto would, or a bigger percentage of the buys. he'd also bring UK money to the table.
you're also not addressing taxes, which are often the difference between a viable entity and one you want to shy away from. khan and brook are going to be paying 45% if they fight in the UK. i don't think khan's on the hook for 45% back to england if he fights in vegas, but i'm not an accountant in the UK. businesses and individuals in vegas pay no state income tax. federal [national] income tax rates are very low. vegas taxes uniquely. they nail tourists with a high sales tax, hospitality tax, liquor tax, etc. income for businesses and individuals is untouched.

Khan himself has admitted the Brook fight would earn him more money. I don't know what you're arguing here

He will. Ramadan is a religious holiday after all and faith is his number #1 priority. People need to stop giving dates during this period....period. Does Khan duck Brook is a different question altogether and the answer to that is....
yes, so ****ing badly.

Not to mention, June is not viable for Khan, which is ok, there's still May, if there's a real negotiation, then the date can not be set in stone. Personally, I'd prefer Khan v Bradley next year and then Khan v Brook, in the mean time Brook can fight a better level of opponent.

It's only recently he's started to come out with the excuse that he needs "time to prepare" for Ramadan. Ironically around the same time the Brook fight was offered to him.

If Team Khan can come up with a counter-proposal for May then they should.
Somehow I doubt they will.

khan himself said he had one of the best chins in boxing. he's not an airtight source for information
according to what i'm looking at for UK pop press sources, manny and floyd did 700K in uk PPV, which is pretty substantial considering that froch and groves did 900 in the rematch, and that's considered one of the biggest british fights ever. that says a lot about the drawing power of floyd mayweather in the UK and on ppv. it indicates that he'd be entitled to some of the UK ppv, but he's not entitled to all of it. that represents a very significant source of revenue in addition to a guarantee that would, without a doubt, be higher than berto's 4 million [taxed in nevada, BTW.]

Whether or not it's summer 2016 is the only issue.
