I didnt want to make a thread right after the fight becuase some people will start taking shots at me, because I said before that Peter Quillin would be the man to KO Gennady Golovkin, and I know he has the capability to do so.
First I want to say cong**** on Danny Jacobs he won, but the fight was wrong in so many ways, the ref stopped it too soon, It was a BS stoppage.
Jacobs names is the Golden Child, so that makes him one of Haymons cash cow possibilities, he was the protected fighter going in and the one he wanted to win so they gave him the W any way possible with that BS stoppage.
Kid Chocolate was done wrong.
Another thing that nobody wanted to acknowledge is the mental state, reasons Algieri and Rios lost to Pacquiao was bad diet, and mental state. Rios wasnt ready for the big lights, he was groggy and didn't have his American brand Quacker quick oats for breakfast, his week in China was down hill from there when the two bottles of Oats spilled open and he couldn't salvage it. They were contaminated, and the big lights and fight time screwed him up he was sleepy fighting at 8 am in the morning, most people are taking a dump around that time after breakfast.
Algieri was over confident and not prepared for the lights, he screwed up his diet and was overweight a bit, plus he had to do lots of media obligations that blew his head up with too much confidence and he had an incompetent corner.
Now with Quillin, he had similar issues, his wife blamed him for a miscarriage, he revealed this before his fight with Jacobs on The Breakfast club morning show, he said his wife was so depressed and hurt and was threatening to leave him over the miscarriage, Quillin blames himself and he said it affected him big time. He wasn't on good terms with his wife leading up to this camp, and she wasnt giving him the love and affection a man needs when he comes home from a hard day work, instead he arrived to a cold shoulder and tension.
I know some of you guys won't accept it and want to down this man, but please have an open mind and understanding, his mind wasn't right and they stopped the fight way to early never gave him a chance at all.
