Question is if he makes 160lb in his next fight, do you think he is going to look ripped? I think he comes in as in shape as DLH did vs Sturm. No point in ruining your career trying to rush up in weight when you know you're gonna have excessive fat up there. Can't imagine Canelo looking ripped at full 160 right now, maybe after 2-3 MW fights.

The answer is yes, Canelo looked fairly ripped at the 30 day weigh in for Cotto he was 168lbs in that picture.

155 is the absolute minimum Canelo can make he struggles to make that. the guy is a fully fledged middleweight.

The real reason that people pick Golovkin over Canelo is because in their eyes, Canelo is a tainted fighter who has already been tainted by a loss to Floyd, the most hated boxer ever.

To pick Canelo over Golovkin would mean indirectly picking Floyd (who beat Canelo) over Golovkin, and that is unacceptable and unthinkable to these people who view Golovkin as the last hope, the only one who was never tainted by Floyd.

Realistically, Canelo vs Golovkin could go either way, and in another year or two Canelo should even have the advantage. By destroying Geale, Cotto proved how weak Golovkin's opponents have been, and Canelo ate Cotto's shots like candy.

That has nothing to do it's experience, skills and power being weight drained and losing doesn't taint you it taints the winner

Don't mix and confuse fighter's own weight with a maximum contractual weight for his opponent. If Canelo feels that he is more effective as 155 (which I don't believe for a second, judging by how much he re-hydrates) he can do it all he wants. But draining an opponent is entirely different.

I think it takes time for Canello. Now he weights 155 day before and 180 at the ring. He will need time to make 160 at the weight in and 190 at the ring. It is not an easy task to weight 190 with the height of only 5 ft 9 in...

Nothing you said is true. You say Cotto destroying Geale proves GGG's opponents are weak. What an incredibly ****** thing to say. Geale isn't GGG's opponents,dummy. He is one single solitary opponent who has nothing to do with the quality of GGG's other 30 + opponents. GGG KOed Geale faster than Cotto did and he did it at 160 pounds, not 157. Maybe you are too ****** to know that GGG crushing Geale first makes it easier for Cotto to KO Geale a short time later. People make their pick on the Canelo vs GGG fight based 100% on what they have seen out of both fighters in the ring in the last few years. It's just that simple.
