Szpilka already got dominated by Jennings... I don't really care to see a fight like this made.

It's irritating enough looking at Wilder's fanpage on Facebook and seeing all the ignorant comments, "Klitschko is an old man and ducking Wilder!!!", "Wilder would KO Tyson Fury easily!!!", "Tyson Fury has never beaten anyone!!!", "Wilder is the best heavyweight boxer right now!!!".

I really want Wilder to become a great heavyweight, especially because America hasn't had one of those in a while now, but looking at his resume Malik Scott definitely took a dive, or at least didn't want to fight (similar to Rubio vs Golovkin), and Stiverne is his only other win. He needs to fight someone in the top 10 already, this is ridiculous.

Solid fight after Glazkov ducked him. Can't just pick up a world-beater on short notice.

Well, at least I've heard of this one

Spilka could make it interesting for a few rounds, but should surely get KO'd.

Hoping Wilder will have a big fight next vs Fury/Wlad/Povetkin

              That was Wilder's reasoning!
              Hahaha, this ^.

              Wilder really is a chump.

Briggs is just a circus act and doesn't deserve a title shot at any champion unless and until he beats a good heavyweight. There are over 1000 pro heavyweights and boxrec is the only place that ranks them all. Boxrec may not be the best ranking place but they are neutral and do the best they can. They are the only ones who go low enough to show how bad the guys Briggs is fighting really are. Boxrec ranks Briggs 47th at heavyweight. Szpilka is ranked 19th in the world by boxrec while the last two guys Wilder defended his title against were ranked about 25th so Wilder is not facing top 10 guys. Briggs had a title shot 4 or 5 years ago against Vitali and took an awful beating and landed about 4 punches in 12 rounds. He lost by scores of 120-107, 120-107 and 120-105. Briggs retired for 2 years and then returned to beat 8 incredibly bad heavyweights. None of the 8 guys he beat were ranked in the top 100 and some were ranked as low as 517th in the world. One guy was 49 years old and had already been KOed 15 times before he fought Briggs. Is Briggs really the guy you want to get a title shot at Wilder? He has done nothing to deserve it and Wilder fighting him for the title would be disgraceful. Wilder would slaughter Briggs but he should not fight him.

****, who am I kidding? I'd give him a shot to win it all.

I think Briggs was pissed that Fury beat Vladimir.
