Szpilka is decent, i like his fights usually good action.

I was bored so I checked Wilder's pro experience against southpaws:

2 first round KO's (Audley Harrison and Reggie Pena)..combined 3 minutes 13seconds total.

If it goes some rounds it will be something new to see if nothing else

Didn't Chambers call him out multiple times? Hell, even hughie fury said he'd take the fight.

Even Shannon Briggs would have at least been fun in the build up.

This just has stinker written all over it.
None of those guys are ranked in the top 15

Looking at the available top 15, not really interested in a Stiverne rematch or Fujimoto

          1) He's hilarious, the buildup would be incredible
          2) Joking aside, Briggs looks to be in better shape than he's been in about ten years. I remember him releasing a video during his training to fight Vitali and he was in absolutely **** shape coming into camp. 44 or not, he'd give Wilder a solid test.

****, who am I kidding? I'd give him a shot to win it all.

Chambers cant punch and is tiny.

Fury turned down the fight, which is totally fair as they said before they're not taking any fight without a full camp, but he did turn it down.
Yeah he turned it down because it was 3 weeks notice. There's 5-6 weeks until this fight - They said they'd take it.

Even Glazkov could fight Hughie - That would be fair.

I couldn't for the life of me see how Szpilka could ever be better than Eddie Chambers.

Ok I haven't checked out the top 15 of the WBC lately, not sure if it's possible for the WBC champ to go beyond that?

For a non title fight sure, but pretty sure they want to go parading him around as the champion....but the WBC could also rank them #2 in a minute, so who knows. Their rankings are broken.

Fujimoto is ranked #15, most significant opponent is a MW. Mike Perez dropped all the way down from #3 to #32 after losing once....but Gio Segura is ranked #6 despite losing his only fight this year to Estrada and hasn't won a fight since April of 2014..... WBC don't care

Szpilka is terrible. Briggs would have probably had equal chances.

I've just stopped paying attention to the WBC belt.

They lowballed Briggs and when he accepted they chose Spzilka anyway. Haymon is shook.
