Are you suggesting Floyd fans only like black fighters? If so, that would be very sad. Just because fans do not like Manny doesn't mean they only like black fighters.
Maybe posters just do not like boxers that get hookers pregnant.Comment

Would he have gotten the push he did? I was thinking about the amount of love mayweather got in russia, and wondered if that translated to pacs marketability in the usa...being that he's a foreign fighter. But on the flip side, with there being so many american athletes/sports to choose from, would he have even gotten the support here to become a superstar if he was just another american fighter. It's a given that all the filipinos are going to support him cuz they have nothing else to be proud of.
White American, Black American? Because it makes a difference.
Had he been Filipino American he'd have pretty close to the same career. Maybe not as rich though.
White American his career would have been big, but about he same. Just more shows with Jimmy Kimmel.
Had he been Hispanic, Mexican/American particularly he would have been instantly labeled the greatest ever and would have put 100K plus in each stadium he fought in.
African American he is still big, but not as big as he is now. The comparisons to other African American fighters would never end. He's always be second best to the Sugars.Last edited by JJRod; 12-08-2015, 01:55 PM.Comment
