Look at Rigondeaux, the guy is one of the greats going and they refuse to acknowledge him and use the 'excuse' that he is boring - yet many USA boxers aren't much more entertaining and they get 10x the amount of coverage.

It's really hard to compare but if he came up in America he might have been a better fighter( not that he's not already great) because of the US Am system is top notch( might have medaled, hell him and Floyd might have been teammates) plus he would of had more backing sooner then he did. Pac had to come up the hard way if he was American he would be an almost instant star.

I have asked this very question many times. Who knows how far he would have gone??? PAC is very marketable. There are lots of great black & Hispanic fighters. It is easy to get missed in the crowd. Many great Japanese fighters who don't speak English & get overlooked by HBO & Showtime.
