      exactly

i seldom see anyone using sweet science on rigo like they use it for Floyd.

genius floyd fans - rigo boring.

same genius floyd fans - Floyd sweet science LOL

Manny got the push he did because he performed when he was a nobody. Wasn't he a late replacement against Ledwaba?

It's really hard to compare but if he came up in America he might have been a better fighter( not that he's not already great) because of the US Am system is top notch( might have medaled, hell him and Floyd might have been teammates) plus he would of had more backing sooner then he did. Pac had to come up the hard way if he was American he would be an almost instant star.

I think he's more popular because he's Filipino. Boxing fandom is so racially motivated but because he was the first Asian star he was able to transcend that.

I have asked this very question many times. Who knows how far he would have gone??? PAC is very marketable. There are lots of great black & Hispanic fighters. It is easy to get missed in the crowd. Many great Japanese fighters who don't speak English & get overlooked by HBO & Showtime.

If Floyd were a Filipino fighter, is also an interesting topic. If Jordan was French.
So many interesting ways to look at things.

Ill say this, if pacquiao were black, the black floyd fans would be fans of his instead, and say how pacquiao got unique unorthodox slick boxing skills, and say he is the baddest brotha below 160. Floyd would become obsolete and the same fans that accussed pac of roids would call floyd a ***** and floyd would have no choice because pacquiao would be the bigger draw, he would be praised as an alltime great and a mini tyson.

how would floyd have gone obsolite if he remained the undefeated one while this black pacman lost multiple fights???floyd would be outed as the "better" of the two and he would still sell as good as he does
