Quillin is on the same level as Lemieux/Murray/Macklin. solid B-level contenders. If you notice, those are three names already on GGG's resume. In fact, I would say Lemieux beats Quillin on most nights.

Who has PQ beat? A faded Winky Wright, Ndam (who Lemieux looked better in beating), and Gabe Rosado. C'mon. Quillin was never that good, he merely had "the look" and you know it.

But Pepe Le Pew is, right ?

Immediately after the fight, Able Sanchez stated that Curtis Stevens punches harder than Lemieux and is a better fighter.

    Effectively burning BOTH names.

      150,000 buys at $55 (split hd / non=hd 50-50) = 8,525,000

      less 45% to distributors = $4,688,750

Tv fights cost $3.85 million ($2 mil GGG, 1.5 Lemieux, 250k Gonzalez, Viloria 100k)

That leaves just under a million to cover the undercard, event expenses, and ancillary costs.

And there still is the additional revenue from the live gate, the Canadian rights, overseas rights, rebroadcast rights to HBO, merchandise, advertisers, sponsors, etc

Nobody got rich, but the event definitely made money

Make all of the "doe" jokes you want but your man crush didn't want it with Ward. If you didn't see the world through Golovkinvision you would understand that.

when GGG was looking at 168 bouts, Ward was in witness protection. It wasnt until Lemieux got signed that Ward stuck his head up and saw the coast was clear.
