jacobs will probably not make $1.5m in purses in the whole of 2016 if he doesn't fight golovkin or alvarez. let's be honest his schedule on PBC is eubank jr/saunders (they will rematch before either of them faces jacobs), blanco and miscellaneous bums. (if andy lee beats saunders, K2 likely snaps him up). it'd be bad business for jacobs to decline $1.5m and a shot at a real title for that

Sounds like you have (or had) Quillin highly rated. That is your opinion. I will disagree.

Quillin is on the same level as Lemieux/Murray/Macklin. solid B-level contenders. If you notice, those are three names already on GGG's resume. In fact, I would say Lemieux beats Quillin on most nights.

Who has PQ beat? A faded Winky Wright, Ndam (who Lemieux looked better in beating), and Gabe Rosado. C'mon. Quillin was never that good, he merely had "the look" and you know it.

Another Fighter pricing themselves out of a GGG fight

Jacobs knows as soon as he steps up to GGG, that buzz is over. He'll ask for something that will keep the fight unworkable. That way he can fight low ranked fighters for Haymon.

This is how Haymon's system falls short.

I hope the WBA do make Jacobs GGG mandatory. GGG should offer whatever makes the fight workable and say get it done.
