you easily go through another fighters resume with a fine tooth comb but not with GGG. On top of that, you get mad when someone examines GGG resume like you just did Quillin.
GGG's resume > Quillin's, just FYI. its not even debateable. PQ = fool's gold. Middleweight Seth Mitchell

When GGG versus Quillin were brought up, they'd say Kid Chocolate drew with Lee, that he wouldn't be a solid win.

Now Jacobs beat him, suddenly that's a career defining win.

      Come on!

At best Jacob beat a fighter who was equal to Murray. In reality, Quillin would lose two half of the top ten MW out there. Really, there isn't a top MW that I'd be surprised if they beat Quillin.

Jacob may of propelled himself into the top 5, maybe not.

But GGG has been beating the best MW fighters for years.

And if Jacobs fights GGG (with his asking price I doubt it), will these guys call it a good win if GGG KO'd him in 6.

No! They'd say he was overrated, like they do with each GGG win.
GGG fight a LHW!! HAHA!! Stop making things up. He ducked Ward cause he knew he was to good but oh well. Live in that fantasy world if you want

im not the one carrying on and on and on and on about "resume doe".

Al you guys do is blab about how "GGG aint fought no one doe", "weak resume doe" but you praise guys like Quillin, even though his resume is an absolute joke. And if it had been GGG that sparked Quillin, you would now refer to Quillin as a c-level bum who never beat nobody. But since Jacobs did it, Quillin was Godzilla.

lol you guys crack me up.

More over exaggerated deflection. No one has praised Quillin, called him good, or touted anything about him. No one has implied he was a great fighter. All anyone said is he is ranked higher and is better than anyone GGG defeated.

why are you willing to examine every resume but GGG's the same?

          • so if GGG unifies the tiles by beating Lee, he'll have a Quillin quality win?

Anyone seriously think these haters would give GGG any credit for any win.

GGG has a better resume than anyone currently fighting at 160.

There are no MW fighters who will beat GGG in the next few years.

If you think they are as good, so be it.
He beat a better Version than Lemieux did?

Ward is a LHW isn't he. Last division he fought in is LHW. And Ward hasn't had a SMW bout since 2013.

You didn't even dispute a thing I said.

GGG's resume is crap and so is Quillin's, except Quillin beat Ndjam and most felt he beat the guy GGG wants to fight next, should he beat Saunders.

GGG's fighting top 10 MW contenders. Not only that, you could make a case that he's not lost a round to any of these guys going back to the Proksa fight. Do you honestly believe GGG wouldn't have jumped at the opportunity to get in the ring with any MW champ going back to Martinez?

How exactly do you judge a resume? Does Jacobs now suddenly become an A fighter while Quillen drops down to a C level or perhaps tomato can? Was Quillen always a bum? If Quillen was indeed a bum, then Jacobs' win over him doesn't mean all that much.

ndam? you mean the guy lemieux beat and ggg beat lemiuex. ok. also quillin loses to lee if he hadn't had that 2nd knockdown counted which was clearly a trip. grasping for straws as always.

And GGG already dominated another guy who'd beaten Ndjam. Where's your logic and what's your point?

I only look at resume in rebuttals to idiotic posts babbling on and on about GGGs resume, or lack thereof.

Resumes might be useful in analyzing common opponents, styles, as a measuring stick when predicting outcomes, and perhaps 10 or 15 years from now when someone is analyzing a HOF ballot but thats about it. Quillin probably had a better "resume" than Jacobs, but he still got put on ***** street. Douglas didnt have near the resume of Tyson, but thats didnt matter much when Mike was put on the floor. I didnt see Mike sit up and say "but but but I got the better resume doe"

Resume is great for Boxrec ratings, but has little to do with what happens in the ring.
