The ppv price was $50, and HD was $60. Cable distributors do not release the numbers as to how many were HD buys, and how many were non-HD buys. Most people probably opt for the HD, but with no way to verify that number I moved it down to a 50-50 split between HD buys and non-HD buys. So thats where the $55 number comes from, and $55 x 150,000 = 8,250,000

So how many ducked GG so far if Jacobs avoids Golovkin? There's Sturm, Martinez, Ndam, Cotto, Canelo, then Ward had one full year to make the fight. He did nothing.

Chocolatito ran through 3 divisons and is blitzing fighters the same way GGG is but much higher caliber guys

But in the real world..... 97k * $55 = $5,335,000

Less 45% to distributors = $2,400,750.

So, IF TV fights cost $3.85 million ($2 mil GGG, 1.5 Lemieux, 250k Gonzalez, Viloria 100k)..... then they are likely about 1.5mil short.

And as I said earlier, oversea's markets do not net USD$55 per PPV.

It's not devastating, like some are making out..... they likely have a platform to work from..... but it was hardly a success, that's all I'm saying.
