Yeah that's always been a problem with Haymon fighters. Like LSC wanting three million for fighting Rigondeaux (logic: well I get a million bucks for fighting bums and Rigondeaux is much better than a bum therefore I deserve at least three million!).

If the tv numbers prove accurate, then Haymon paid $3mill for a main-event that was watched by less than 300,000 people on tv with an attendance of 8,400.

It'll be impossible to negotiate with people who have no connection with their real market-value. HBO needs to allow Golovkin to go fight off HBO. K2 should then call for an immediate purse bid, let Haymon bid some upsurd amount, beat his guy and take a nice chunk out of his hedge fund.

If a couple million dollars isn't enough to step in the ring with the guy then you don't believe you can beat him. All I read is how it needs to be worth it to face the guy while posters on here act like the guy is a scrub. Something doesn't quite add up.
