The last thing anyone says about Oscar is he ducked great fighters in his era or refused to fight the guys the fans wanted to see WHEN they wanted to see it. The list of great fighters Oscar fought in their prime ect is why you don't hear fans make that criticism about him yet they do make it about Floyd. Oscar did not refuse to fight the "Manny Pacquiao" of his era until 5 years after fans wanted the fight when Manny had already lost multiple fights and was not the same fighter in his prime.
I agree that Floyd is a boring fighter but that isn't the issue. You are correct, other greats have said the same thing about Floyd.

It's the FACT that Oscar just talks about Floyd period. He took out an article in Playboy to talk about Floyd. Don't you find that odd? Floyd has never given Oscar his time to go OUT of his way and do an entire interview on Oscar.

But arum and oscar refused to accept floyds challenge. Its funny how people forget that. Also if floyd was so bad for boxing why was his numbers so staggering. These last few fights posted hideous numbers. And why did oscar promote floyds fights with him if he was so bad for the sport? Oscar is a poor politician and was envious of floyds success. Even though oscar was a great fighter he comes across as petty and spiteful.
Now you are just full of it and making crap up. Oscar LEFT Top Rank in what the early 2000's at that time he was fighting at 154 in the late 90's he fought at 147. At that same time Floyd was fighting 130 and below. At no point did Oscar EVER duck Floyd or anyone else for that matter. Floyd until the end of Oscar's career always fought 2 or more weight classes below him and was never a fight anyone asked for. He didn't have anywhere near Oscar's fanbase and was way too small for Oscar. Floyd never dared to try and make a fight with him until he was old and less of a threat. Saying Oscar ducked Floyd is about the dumbest thing I've heard today. When he was fighting guys like Whitaker, Trinidad, Chavez, Quartey, Vargas, Mosley (twice when Mosley admitted he was on STEROIDS!), Hopkins, ect but he was scared to fight lil ol' Floyd who NOBODY in boxing cared about except a few die hard fans? The first 2/3's of Floyd's career he lived in Oscar's shadow fighting in small arenas. Dude come back to reality.

And as I mentioned earlier PPVs have NOTHING to do with the discussion but really these are the 2 bullet points for Floyd fans when you criticse Floyd. You call the accuser jealous/hater or bring up Floyds PPVs. lol

As much as Oscar criticizes Floyd he spends time taking shots at Oscar too. Remember him putting his nose in the Golden Boy breakup and talking smack about Oscar during the Schaefer fiasco? This has been back and for for a long time. But my point is Floyd never responds with the points Oscar is making, which thank you I'm glad you even admit numerous other Hall of fame fighters have said about Floyd, but instead respond to those points Oscar made purely about Floyd in the ring he just takes shots at Oscar personally. To me it's a easy way to try and distract and evade the real issue. Which is again Floyd for as great as a fighter as he is for a multitude of reason does not get the "all time great" treatment from his peers. Why is that if Oscar is just a jealous druggy? Clearly there is more to it then that because all these fighters outside of Oscar can't all just jealous of Floyd. He rubs people the wrong way.

Jeter announces his retirement and despite having declined to the point where he embarrasses himself from time to time on the field is showered with love by his hall of fame peers. Fans line up and shower him with love and reminisce over his career. Floyd announces his retirement and fans scream Good can't wait to see you leave. His peers say nothing nice about him and at best give back hand compliments like he's a great fight no doubt but I was never a fan of his style he was boring. Or he was a great fighter but I wish he would of challenged himself and fought more guys in their primes and when fans wanted him to ect. And his send off fight was a total disaster with media and fans blasting him and the fight flopped doing his worst PPV in like decade. You bring up him leaving among fans and his peers and they either don't care or are happy he's leaving boxing.

I just think it's fascinating how this man is treated which is unique in boxing and any other major sport for how fans, media and his peers treat him with such disdain opposite to how other greats were/are treated. For a guy who is undefeated and calls himself TBE no less. But yeah Oscar is just a hater even though he is screaming the same thing others are screaming

Floyd despite being undefeated none of this hall of fame peers saying anything nice it's always great fighter but I never liked his fighting style it was boring. Or Great fighter but he never challenged himself or fought the guys we wanted in their prime. Again Floyd gets LESS respect then any alltime great I can think of and any greats from other sports. Jordan ended his career on a bad Wizards team at age 40 where on a nightly basis he embarrassed himself but the moment he retired people talked about how great he was and all his accomplishes while on the Bulls. Yet you do not hear the same for Mayweather. Critics, media, fans, and most importantly the alltime greats who also laced up gloves never talk glowing about his as they did and do for Jordan and many other greats in boxing and others sports. That's my point and screams to the fact that many things about Floyd flat out rub boxing fans, media and other boxing greats the wrong way. Oscar is just one of many speaking on this.
Funny thing is again you are wrong. Sugar Ray Leonard has called Floyd one of the greatest fighters of all time. Mike Tyson has called Floyd a game changer and unbeatable (sure Tyson has his issues with Floyd). Lennox Lewis has praised Floyd. Chavez Sr. has praised Floyd in the past. And Oscar for all the stuff he said also said he believes Floyd to be one of the greatest boxers of all time. Calling someone one of the all time greats is no "back hand" compliment as you put if before.

Yes Floyd has been criticized but so was Ali. Jack Dempsey said Ali couldn't "bust a g****." Rocky Marciano said he was "bad for boxing." Joe Louis called Ali a straight up bum. And now Ali is regarded as one of the greatest. You guys are looking at history selectively.

                  Tyson
"He's very delusional. Listen, if he was anywhere near the realm of greatness of Ali, he would be able to take his kids to school by himself. ... He can't take his kids to school by himself, he's a little scared man. He's a very small, scared man."

                  Lewis
"Floyd is living in his own bubble if he believes he's the best boxer of all time. Floyd is doing a great job promoting himself," Lewis said. "He’s a fantastic athlete, but I wouldn’t say he’s the best ever.”

How would you describe Mayweather’s defensive style?

“You could say it’s unusual, different and definitely in a class by itself. His style can’t be beaten right now. I don’t particularly like his style, but it works."

                  Chavez
Chavez was critical of Floyd who, in recent years, has hand-picked his opponents.

"I was undefeated in 89 fights and fought 37 world champions," stated Chavez.

                  "I always fought the best."

"But not him. Mayweather chooses his opponents... But that's the era we are in."
"People pay to see him fight so why should he care? He can retire undefeated because he's never fought the best."

"He chooses his opponents, always fights in Las Vegas. He has everything in his favor."

Dude you clearly don't know what you talking about those are all direct quotes from Tyson, Lewis and Chavez Sr this year!
