    decent interview by floyd.

he could have made that interview turn real ugly, looks like floyd is mellowing out a bit better as he ages in "retirement"

You can really taste the tears.

          Lewis
"Floyd is living in his own bubble if he believes he's the best boxer of all time. Floyd is doing a great job promoting himself," Lewis said. "He’s a fantastic athlete, but I wouldn’t say he’s the best ever.”

How would you describe Mayweather’s defensive style?

“You could say it’s unusual, different and definitely in a class by itself. His style can’t be beaten right now. I don’t particularly like his style, but it works."

          Chavez
Chavez was critical of Floyd who, in recent years, has hand-picked his opponents.

"I was undefeated in 89 fights and fought 37 world champions," stated Chavez.

          "I always fought the best."

"But not him. Mayweather chooses his opponents... But that's the era we are in."
"People pay to see him fight so why should he care? He can retire undefeated because he's never fought the best."

"He chooses his opponents, always fights in Las Vegas. He has everything in his favor."

Dude you clearly don't know what you talking about those are all direct quotes from Tyson, Lewis and Chavez Sr this year!
Tyson when asked if Floyd could be beaten after the Pacquiao fight: "I don't think so. Its his time. Just like Muhammad Ali had his time Floyd has his time."

Tyson when asked if Floyd changed boxing: "He absolutely did, he's no ordinary fighter"

Chavez Sr.: "Mayweather is one of the best fighters I've ever seen."

Lennox Lewis: "Floyd is an all time great."

All quotes by the same men this year.
I could show you footage of both Leonard and De La Hoya also calling him an all time great. Yeah greats have criticized him but those same greats have also praised him. Your selecting only the negative things they've said and acting like that is all that matters. Know your facts!

Dude like I said they all give back hand compliments. They all say he's a great fighter but ... and then rip him. Read the quotes I gave. All have made it clear they either don't like his fighting style and that he is boring and/or that he didn't face guys in their prime. The same things people are saying Oscar is ONLY saying because he's a hater and on drugs lol

Oscar has repeatedly said Floyd is a great fighter. I can post literally DOZENS of Oscar saying the exact same quote Floyd is a all time great, Floyd is the best fighter today. Floyd is a future hall of famer. Every fighter starts their quotes that way then comes the BUT...and what I just showed you is what all those hall of fame greats have said this year alone. Chavez says he's a one of the best fighters he's seen then goes on to say but he didn't challenge himself and fight the best. Lewis says he's a alltime great then says I'm not a fan of his fighting style it's boring. Tyson says he's no ordinary fighter but then says he's a scared little man.

Again Floyd gets less respect from his hall of fame peers then any alltime great I've ever seen in boxing or any other major sport. They acknowledge he's a great fighter which Oscar also does but then say why things he does rub them the wrong way. I don't see Jordan, Jeter, of other sports treated this way when they retire. And I don't see other boxing legends ripped like this when they retire. Just pointing out it's not just Oscar saying these things, media, fans, and his hall of fame peers saying it. The overwhelming fan reaction when Floyd saying I'm retiring is "Great hurry up please leave boxing". I don't think Tyson, Chavez, Lewis are saying these things because they are a hater or jealous of Floyd I think they like Oscar are just echoing very loud sentiments that a large amount of fans feel.

Anyone who cant see that oscar is beyond jealous that floyd took him over as this generations best fighter is blind by hate. Everything that comes out of oscars mouth is something that tries to discredit floyd and during the times when oscar was using drugs is the times when he would talk the most **** so in know what floyd is saying.

Not to mention hes beyond a hypacrit

Other greats don't get treated the way Floyd has? I literally just gave you examples of Muhammad Ali being torn to shreds by greats that came before him. Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, and Rocky Marciano all said negative things about him. Louis called him a bum, Dempsey said he couldn't punch, an Marciano said he was bad for boxing. Ali got a TON of disrespect throughout his career and only started getting respect after he was retired.

Your talking b.s. when you say other greats weren't disrespected this much. I recall Tyson being called an animal. Journalists and media types calling Tyson crazy and classless. They all got a certain amount of hate.

Again I said when they retire! Ali was a lightning rod especially early in his career for many different reasons. But was loved and showered with praise at the end of his career when he retired and when it was time for fans to thank him and reminisce about his career. Floyd just retired and nobody cares and his peers are trashing him or giving him back handed compliments. If you think Floyd is being treated like Ali and many other greats when you retired you are just lying to yourself. We just saw the Derek Jeter farewell tour. Berto was promoted as his farewell tour and look at the differences? You either blind or refuse to acknowledge that fans and his peers are not giving the same type of respect to Floyd. And Oscar pointed out many of the reasons why.
