Lol, good point. However if it weren't for PAC fans you wouldn't be talking now either.

Marvin Hagler in many people's eyes was robbed of a victory against Leonard and retired in anger. Lennox Lewis was ****ted on for his performance against Vitali.

What do you mean these guys were loved when they retired? Are you kidding? Most of these guys were seen as a joke when they retired. Most retired either broke or sick or disgraced. Look at how Oscar ended his career? He ended it on his stool after taking an ass whooping from a former flyweight. Oscar was even booed on his way to the ring before his fight with Pacquiao.

Floyd ended his career the way he wanted to not the way his critics wanted him to. He ended it rich, undefeated, and healthy. And I guarantee you many fighters will be trying to follow suit. History tends to look fondly on past fighters. It tends to ignore their former indiscretions and focus on their successes. People will look more kindly on Floyd as time goes on. Just as they did with past greats.
Wanted guys to retire because they are too old or guys retiring after loses has nothing to do what I'm talking about. It is not the same as bashing their career accomplishments and their style of fighting. That's my point others retire and peers say great things and reflect on their careers. Floyd despite being undefeated none of this hall of fame peers saying anything nice it's always great fighter but I never liked his fighting style it was boring. Or Great fighter but he never challenged himself or fought the guys we wanted in their prime. Again Floyd gets LESS respect then any alltime great I can think of and any greats from other sports. Jordan ended his career on a bad Wizards team at age 40 where on a nightly basis he embarrassed himself but the moment he retired people talked about how great he was and all his accomplishes while on the Bulls. Yet you do not hear the same for Mayweather. Critics, media, fans, and most importantly the alltime greats who also laced up gloves never talk glowing about his as they did and do for Jordan and many other greats in boxing and others sports. That's my point and screams to the fact that many things about Floyd flat out rub boxing fans, media and other boxing greats the wrong way. Oscar is just one of many speaking on this.

              That's completely false, unfortunately.

I'm a fan of the sport of boxing not just of a single fighter. Which is why, if you search through my post history, you will see that I get into discussions about a ton of different fighters and a ton of different boxing topics.

The Pac stans around here only know two things: They worship their god Manny and they hate everything about the god slayer Floyd Mayweather. That's it.

Ok good glad that there are unbiased fans actually on these things. But as I may be completely wrong in your case, I don't believe that I am completely wrong with the general population on here. It seems that most of people on these blogs watch the sport for the sole reason of aiding in the humiliation of someone's loss. I don't enjoy those reads, I much prefer people who like you watch boxing for boxing, not slamming people after the fact.

It has been hard to take Oscar seriously since he dressed up in female lingerie.

Oscar has to live with the fact that he has a drug problem and is into kinky stuff...nothing wrong with that, but it is now public knowledge.

Its not floyds fault that the top guys in their prime ducked floyd due to high risk low reward. Oscar being one of them. Floyd challenged oscar when both were with top rank. But arum and oscar refused to accept floyds challenge. Its funny how people forget that. Also if floyd was so bad for boxing why was his numbers so staggering. These last few fights posted hideous numbers. And why did oscar promote floyds fights with him if he was so bad for the sport? Oscar is a poor politician and was envious of floyds success. Even though oscar was a great fighter he comes across as petty and spiteful.
