Please dont assume bro, im chicano & i dont think very highly of canelo. If it werent for the puerto rican fans i wouldve gone for cotto & the same could be said if if/when he fights ggg. Also u better believe if a legit chicano (mexican american) contender challenged Canelo at 155, id be rooting for the homie over the paisa homie for sure.

La verdad canelo me recuerdad bastante a Fernando Vargas fueron muy buenos cuanto estaba joven pero ya pa los 28-29 ya no traia nada....

he visto mucho esa comparacion, yo creo que es en parte porque a vargas lo apresuraron muy joven, tenia potencial pero despues de la madriza que le dio tito su confianza cayo, golden boy esta tratando de no cometer ese error con canelo, pero ya lo apresuraron contra floyd y probablemente tambien lo hagan con GGG, eso es algo que solo el tiempo nos podra responder, yo preferiria que si pelea con GGG que sea a 160, pero si le hace falta un par de peleas antes contra pesos medianos que esten grandes, jamas ha enfrentado a un verdadero mediano y si lo mandas contra GGG en su primera pelea seria algo apresurado... lo de 155 la verdad no me gusta, prefiero que esperen un par de peleas y entonces si se haga en 160, sin ventajas para ninguno...

Simon, i respect that. Honestly canelos last outting was nothing to brag about, i actually felt dumb during the fight for backing him prefight. The whole fight against cotto i was yelling at my tv for canelo to let his damn hands go and thats become a trend in all his fights. Good post tho by the way my tex mex homie...
