He's not the typical mexican fighter that will get in there to prove he has the strongest chin in history while throwing and missing a 100 punches, he actually understands the sweet science and fight very smart for his age and experience, he needs to move up to 160 thpugh cuz him draining himself affects his stamina, and that's probably why some people don't like him, he doesn't throw enough and his stamina is limited.

Yeah Mexico has racial issues just like the US. For Mexico's top fighter to be a ginger/white guy with clear afro-american style influences isn't going to fly with everyone. Many different types of Mexicans.

Me? I only started hating Canelo a couple weeks ago when he said he would defend his MW title at 155 lbs.

Canelo fought every tough challenger out there in his division, his record is a who's-who at 154 lb. Haters gonna hate I guess but taking all comers sounds pretty Mexican to me.

I like Canelo but he's not what the "Chicano" people believe him to be....imo he lost to Lara & the Cotto fight was a draw plus got schooled by Mayweather....Canelo is a B+ Solid Competitor but is not Elite....GGG will destroy this redhead if he ever gets in the ring with him at 160lbs....the only people who will deny this are Mexican-american (Chicano) fanboys & Mexican women.....
