I'm not taking anything away from Fury - his tactics, footwork and switching completely befuddled Wladimir - but it was by no means a dominant, quality, one-sided fight.

The Brits are losing their heads (as ever...)
Wladimir has been champion for over a decade and no one has ever clowned him like that before.

It's hard to consistently land clean on him because he grabs you every 2 seconds.

It was one sided. Fury was the only one landing punches.

But really, this is the worst ever HW era, right? Maybe Fury's accomplishment ain't even that special. Seems he will have nothing but bums and cans to defend against.

At least Fury is financially secured, good for him and his family.
the HW division is very exciting, is has good up and coming match ups, same as 147 or middleweight divisions etc

theres also no clear reason why ANY of the current HW's in the division should white wash fury like he did wlad, so why would he fight bums or have a short reign? you just dont know **** about boxing and you are a butthurt bitter wlad fanboy,

There are many dangerous big guys coming through (Jousha, Wyhte, Wilder etc), as well as a few older established names like Pov and Haye

I see you still haven't come back to me with your analysis of the fight.

Well, at least you're reaffirming my earlier statement re. your background/education.

AJ and J Parker are the future of the division, they will usher in the new generation and flush out this awful division.

When they meet it will be for the unification of the division and the biggest heavyweight fight of the century, mark my words.

i want to see fury vs wilder.

im still having a hard time respecting a guy who uppercutted himself and even tho the batman skit was funny and gave me great entertainment value,

              it was still disturbing.

The winner of Fury-Wilder gets to fight a couple decent prospects coming up and Povetkin. After that, who knows.

Would Tyson fight his cousin Hughie?

I think the era was probably worse from 2005-2010, maybe slightly longer.

But it's picked up, AJ coming on, Wilder having a good punch, Povetkin and Pulev still being around and Haye coming back. Not to mention Fury himself. Jenning and Ortiz might still have a say too.

It's better than an era of washed up Holy, fat Toney, old Rahman and useless giant Valuev.

It is the same as it was a week ago really, although with Wlad looking like that you have to knock it down a little because that is lowering down of a high end guy who probably won't make a big comeback at that age.

There was starting to be some movement in the division, I highly doubt Fury is going to be a dominant champion or any of these dudes really but you never know a dude can surprise or come out of no where. Really wait and see right now, but that unknown is kind of exciting.
