i was gutted.....then he adapted in the morales rematch & proved he isnt
one dimensional. hes actually a great fighter with a wide array of shots.

hey, great thread CITA, sorry for the insult

The look on roy's face after the second tarver fight was awful...
Roy after the Johnson fight...and i think someone mentioned roy's son, that was bad too
Ali vs holmes...ill never watch that fight again
i could tell it was over looking at ali in the beginning of the fight, he looked old, weary and not himself
        Hagler after the leonard fight...

the worst moments of three of my favorite fighters

It was the pitiful look on Fatboy's face as he threw clubfighter right hands and missed Rahman, lurching forward like he was drunk on Boozo's special fightnite concoction. Poor Boozo had to cry into in pillow that night until he could gather himself to show up and make a shadow appearance.

Corrales taking a page out of Freita's book to buy him some recovery time after the second knockdown, then somehow stopping Castillo when Jose Luis got too overconfident in trying to finish Diego.

Seeing Michael Watson carried out on a stretcher at White Hart Lane, 30 minutes after collapsing. I was there and it put me off boxing abit, I stopped boxing for a few years after that.

Watson was this real good physical specimen with the physique of a gladiator and one of the most handsome faces you could see, he was mid-20's, prime of his life and prime of his career, on the verge of being crowned 'world champion' after dropping the seemingly invincible Chris Eubank to his knees, all his dreams were about to come true.. before an uppercut from hell (I didn't even see it, not many of us did).

I've only managaed to watch Frazier Vs Foreman 1&2 twice each, tops. Watching my favorite fighter just be so terribly outmatched by styles and strength does nothing but depress me.

When Herrol "bomber" Graham left his chin out against Julian Jackson in 1990...man, he was out cold.
