The Mclellan fight probably hurt the most. I watched it when it happened, then I watched a few years later after knowing the out come of Mclellan and it made me twice as sick. You could see all the signs. He kept taking a knee. I really feel bad for the guy. I think I would have rather died in the ring than to come out like that.Comment

Not really one moment, but seeing Naz's career disintegrate was pretty hard. I was 12/13, and thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He started going downhill after splitting with his trainer, then there was the performance against McCullough and a press conference before it where he'd changed from being ****y and arrogant to just being spiteful and insulting. Then there was the fight with Cesar Soto(who was so good that he lost 8 of his next 9 fights. He drew the other one). I remember watching that and thinking "what the **** is this?". I'm just thankful it was a legend like Barrera that beat him instead of a nobody. Watching someone so talented piss it all away was hard.
Spencer Oliver and Paul Ingle collapsing in the ring were both worrying moments. Thankfully both lived.
Realizing that Mayweather's most meaningful fight of 2008 would be against a wrestler was also very sad.Comment

for me when Erik Morales lost to pacquiao on their third match. the guy just look helpless. Right there on his face i knew he was sad and he just can't do ****Comment

Yeah, I also found the Duran vs Joppy fight very sad. He just looked so old
Erik Morales' losses to Pacquiao were definitely up there with the worst. Even in the second fight where you could see that his heart was still there, as it always would be, but his tired old shot legs just refused to carry him any further. That was awful.
Then of course the third fight was even worse. Right away he just looked terrible (no pun intended) and the definition of a shot fighter. After the first round I felt sad because you could just tell how it was going to end. Then when he went down for the last time and looked over to his corner and shook his head and then just stared at the ref like "Don't bother counting." That was truly a sad and awful moment to see such a warrior going out in such a tragically and typically 'done' fighter kind of way. You know, the old fighter just not being able to do what he used to be able to do so well against the young up and comer.
Also, I felt very sad and I can't even watch the fight with Tszyu against Hatton. Everything he does is just wrong and seems like he still thinks he was twenty six instead of thirty six. Trying to out-muscle and out-brawl the much younger, hungrier and fitter guy with the ref and everything against him was awful. He was such a class act as well.
Most recently was the Katsidis fight. I was absolutely shattered when he went down in the last and then the ref stopped it. I just couldn't believe it. It was also terrible watching Michael afterwards. He seemed completely distraught. Sad stuff.Comment

I agree with you guys, seeing Morales get counted out in the 3rd fight was painful. For me, the saddest moment was when Zab lost to Baldomir. He lost all the belts and just about any credibility he had left in the sport. Zab has always been my favorite fighter and it hurt to see him lose to a bum like Baldy. Sure he probably would have lost the belts to Mayweather later, but who knows where he could be if he hadn't lost to Baldy, definitely not on FNF.Comment
