When I saw Holyfied go down during the James Toney fight and having his corner wave it off, I honestly wanted to cry.

Finding out Duk Koo Kim died five days after watching his fight with Mancini. I remember watching that fight with my Dad and being in awe of the beating Kim took.

As a kid, I grew up lving the sluggers like Hagler and, my man, Duran. Duran was my fave.

Cut to my late teens/early 20's, and Duran was still fighting, flabby, half bored, but still determined to take whatever he could get. I dont even remember who he was fighting, some nobody. It was on the undercard of an ESPN or USA card, all the announcers could do was talk about he needed to stop fighting, how'd he'd only turn it on for about one minute every other round.

After the fight in the interview he was his same old self, kind of a mean wise ass, and he seemed puzzled why they were asking him when he was oging to stop, like the thought of not fighting was impossible for him.

What was your saddest moment in boxing?

I was kind of hurt when buster douglas knocked out tyson, also when terry norris, ****ed sugar ray up, holmes whooped ali, and I was hurt when roy got knocked out, because I learned how to fight watching roy jones...Once I adapted his relaxed style, I started knocking fools out on the street...
