Seeing Tszyu in the later rounds against Hatton was tough, but seeing morales get KO'd against Manny was really painful to watch.

And all of the other stuff goes without saying... Taylor on legendary nights, Leavander Johnson, all fighters who died in the ring or are in terrible condition today due to fighting, etc

my favorite fighter of all times wilfredo gomez getting his ass handed to him by salvador sanchez.

the long term damage meldrick taylor suffered after the chavez fight .

trinidad vs. hopkins almost as bad as gomez vs. sanchez..

Seeing Tyson get beat down by that bum McBride...

Sad because you know that Tyson in his prime would have floored him in round 1.

I would have to say seeing a special in "INSIDE SPORTS" or legendary nights, I cant really recall which probably a combination of both has fused in my memory. But seeing how articulate he was and how charismatic he appeared. Then seeing that he was still fighting and hearing him speak, his speach pattern was that of a heroin addict that just took a hit, with a compressed vocabulary. That was doubly sad because I think he should've had the Chavez win as his Hallmark carrer defining victory.

-Richard Steele stopping Taylor/Chavez I and attempting to fathom how that must have felt for the better fighter that night (Meldrick). Taylor deserved the chance to continue after that unbelievably ballsy performance.

-Felix Trinidad beating up on a shot, coked out Pernell Whitaker, who is my favorite fighter of all time. It was hard to watch Pernell's body fail to respond to the obvious skill he still had. Bernard Hopkins got sweet revenge for me though when he slapped around Trinidad for 11 & 1/2 rounds later on though.

-James Toney knocking out Evander Holyfield. Toney is my other favorite fighter next to Whitaker but Holyfield is one of my favorites as well. It was hard to watch such a respectable warrior like Holyfield take that bad of a beating.

-Watching Alexis Arguello run into Aaron Pryor in their first bout. Arguello hit Pryor with everything he had but Pryor was just a rabid animal that night. There were 3 or 4 punches that Arguello landed that would have decapitated Pryor on other occasions. You could just tell that Arguello took the loss hard.

--Watching Manny Pacquiao knock out Erik Morales. Morales was such a proud champion for so long and has given every fight fan all he has in every fight. I love PAcquiao too, but Erik is one of my favorites all time and it was tough to see him receive such a bad beating late in that bout. He just didn't have the legs and reflex down the stretch of the fight.

watching pac KO morales was depressing for me. you just had to watch and wait to see which punch was gonna finally drop him. he couldnt defend himself.
