I don't believe Lara actually wants this fight, he's just talking. He's not even fighting other good fighters out of the PBC stable. If he's serious he should push Haymon for a shot at the Quillin/Jacobs winner, then if he beats the winner call out GGG again.

On his fight on Wednesday he told the reporter his plans for the future are to unify 154 though, so why is he talking about GGG?

I don't really want to watch him get in with GGG and literally sprint around the ring, but if people are actually going to keep up the charade that GGG is ducking him then I wouldn't mind it.

GGG isn't Canelo though, he's gonna actually cut off the ring and put Lara down.

Ooops ... you did it again.

        Golovkin is 33, not 35.

did he really say "if I am not able to clear out 154 then i'll go to 160"? Everybody in 154 is under the same advisor, how the hell could you not get a fight with them. Instead of calling out canelo, cotto, and ggg how about fighting guys that is more likely, like idk fu cking charlo, Andrade or jrock?

Hmmmm. Sounds an awful lot like GGG's philosophy. I wonder if Lara will take as much heat for his position. I'm guessing not.
LOL Golovkin fans are dead scared of Lara

GGG is on record as saying he can do 154-168 for a big PPV fight. Is Canelo not a big PPV fight and by far the biggest fight available? Yet team GGG said last week they wouldn't even do it at 158, why?

Canelo has never said he was going to fight at 160, even before Golovkin became truly relevant.
Because Canelo fights in the same division as him. You don't need to make concessions to fighters in your own division, that's ridiculous. And it doesn't matter what Canelo says, if he can't make 154 then he has to fight in a division that tops out at 160. If he chooses to fight at 155 within that division, then that's on him, but he fights in that division no matter what him and his demented delusional team, and fans, say.

It's really impossible to argue this topic with anyone who has deluded themselves into thinking Murray is better than Lara, which seems to be 95% of GGG's fanbase. I mean, holy shit.
