At 25 years old, is Canelo Alvarez already a borderline future Hall of Famer?

Close but no cigar. Its Sylvester Stallone that's in the IBHOF. Rocky Balboa is not a real human person.

I understand that this is a confusing subject.

Nope, his name is Rocky Balboa. Sylvester Stallone is his slave name.

I don't care what "the man" calls him.

These pretty much show the fight was close.
I agree it was a close fight, but most of the controversy was about open scoring with bogus cards forcing Trout to stop fighting his fight and go for broke instead. I actually ended up scoring it for Alvarez, but the cards had trout out of it by the 7th or so.

Thats the point, the fight was very close but people saying Canelo won easy is just plain BS.

hahahahahahaha no. he has barely accomplished anything significant. his first world title (wbc belt) was won at a 150 lb catchweight against matthew frickin hatton!!! it was a gift belt!!!

his best wins are: trout, lara and cotto

trout isn't that great of a win (it's a decent win) and it was very close. i could easily score it a draw. lara beat canelo easily imo and many of the media thought so as well. another gift for canelo. and cotto was WAY past his prime and completely war torn yet canelo COULDN'T EVENT KO HIM OR WIN A LEGIT UD. BARELY beat cotto!!!!

so what has canelo done that warrants even being close to HOF????? what a joke. he has barely done anything of significance. he just gets a bunch of gifts.

The reality is the HOF has been watered down doe so he could very well get in, but I don't believe he's earned it yet myself.
hahahahahahaah no he doesn't. JUAN FRANCISCO ESTRADA (25 years old) HAS THE BETTER RESUME. his one win over a prime viloria (who was unified WBA and WBO champ and #1 at flyweight) is better than ANYTHING canelo has done. canelo has a bunch of washed up names on his resume (mosley, canelo, baldomir, etc.) and a lot of controversy (trout, lara and cotto).
