At 25 years old, is Canelo Alvarez already a borderline future Hall of Famer?

It's hard to say because age shouldn't be a factor to determine his credentials IMO. Sure he's 25 (supposedly) but he's been a pro since 16 (supposedly) and is already close to having a 10 year career. People talk about his age like he's going to give us 10 more solid years when we really don't know how it will play out. For all we know, he might be shot at 30 or before that. One GGG beatdown next year could ruin his career...or he goes on to have a great career and only gets better with age. Way too early to tell but his current resume, although his recent string of opposition needs to be admired, is not yet hall of fame material.

It's true. Although a lot are bashing canelo probably because of his inept performance with floyd and the perceived ducking against GGG. We must remember this guy is just friggin 25 years of age. He's doin a lot for that age already, at this rate, before age 30, i think he could have fought everyone already.

Canelo still has a lot to prove. Next thing you know he beats triple G and everybody will jump on that he was all hype.
Canelo can just go so for playing "the weight game"
