Man I miss Paul Williams(despite his limitations in the ring). Dude chased greatness. Couldn't get fights at welterweight and moved the heck up cause he wanted to be great. I could be wrong but I don't think I ever heard him talking about people being a draw or money or anything, he wanted to fight and test his skills against the best. Got dang shame what happened to someone like him.
The same Paul Williams who demanded a catchweight against Martinez???

Another thread by a fan boy, when will it it.

160 is the weight limit and Canelo needs to defend his titles to be stripped.

And if Ward wants to fight that bad gel come down to a 160.

155 isn't a legit weight class no matter what the haters say.

Golovkin doesn't take risks. Even his fans can't argue he does. If he did, his resume wouldn't be so completely garbage.

Yep same one. If I recall correctly he asked for one, he wasn't in a position to demand anything. Sergio had no problem with it, although I don't agree with catchweights for title fights.

And yet he still dared to be great, unlike fighters we are seeing today. Funny you didn't comment on that but wanted to bring up a catchweight.

sorry, but demanding a catchweight in a division you've already competed in several times isnt "daring to be great", its "daring to try and weaken your opponent". Good business? Perhaps. Daring to be great?? ehhh, not so much

and I didnt comment on the other point because its the same old same old back and forth "but but but 164 doe" argument that never goes anywhere.

"I will fight Froch at 168" - But will not fight Ward at 168. He will move up to fight an active 38 year old, with not much skill, who announced his retirement this year. But will not fight the more skillful, quicker, smarter and younger Ward?

You GGG fanatics need to be realists man. No doubt he is one of the best in the sport but he will not take risks.
So you think canelo is a big risk for ggg? If the fight gets made that won't be the sentiment around here.

                      Shut up you envy *****.

If he's fighting for the MW titles he should be fighting at 160. That's it. He takes all the risks when he is not avoiding any MW out there.

Canelo won the MW title? ok, fight at 160.

You're defending a fat coward. You don't love GGG, you hate him, *******.
