What would even be the point to fight at 155? If Canelo wins he gets no credit and GGG says he was drained that's how it would be looked at. But if GGG wins he gets even more credit that even drained he was able to win. So this is a lose/lose for Canelo. Just fight at 160 and let the best man win.

this is boxing in 2015. "Best man" has nothing to do with it anymore. The entire philosophy these days is "lets do whatever is necessary to facilitate the bigger draw winning, regardless if he's actually the better fighter or not"

GGG needs to hold his ground whilst Alvarez is stripped of his title. GGG then campaigns at middleweight for as long as he wants and cement his legacy as one of the all time greats. Canelo is completely stuck no where to go other than back to 154 or stay at his favorite 155 division. GGG is in his prime and will remain there for some years to come. Eventually Alvared will have to face his demons and man up and fight GGG or lose all credibility.
