  • Sounds about right

    So what we have here is a guy (GGG) who wanted a catchweight with a bigger and probably better fighter (Ward) being asked for a catchweight (by Canelo) because he (GGG) is probably a bigger and better fighter than the guy who just won a belt at a catchweight because he was a bigger and better fighter (than Cotto).

    And people wonder why boxing is in the f'd up state that it's in.

      Are you serious? 168lb fighter Ward 160lb fighter GGG. 160lb fighter Canelo 160lb fighter GGG but wants it at 155 you don't see the difference?

I have no issues with canelo not fighting golovkn I have issues with the mexican trying to change the rules of boxing which has been around for over a century in terms of weight classes
        No, toilet cleaner..... Canelo will be the 4th world-class opponent that Golovkin COULD have fought, but CHOSE not to.

        1st = chance
        2nd = coincidence
        3rd = a pattern
        4th = a gameplan

        Smarten up, toilet cleaner

            GGG came in at 157 for Monroe, and not long ago he was training down to fight one of these guys. Its all posturing.

            I highly doubt Canelo even wants to fight at 155, he just hopes GGG wont call him on the bs, because he is scared.

            In reality, 3 MW titles, the lineal and ring mag title would be on the line. Its is silly for that to happen 1 pound above JR.MW when both fighters rehydrate over 170.

            Canelo has no issues having a huge weight advantage against Cotto, but ask the man to fight GGG, at a weight he is lineal champion at, and that is too much.

            De La Hoya says he is not at his man weight yet. Come on, he is very much in his man weight.

            The problem is they are scared that not only does GGG beat Canelo, he exposes the facade.

            stuttering and stammering..... coz your boy be duckin

            Just think, if Golovkin was willing to take a risk, you could spend all of your time playing with your new GGG doll instead of having to come online to defend him daily

            You and toilet cleaner, are as bad as those shameless fanboy flip-flopper's HeroBando and kafkod. The 4 worst posters on this site.

              Fk'n Canelo was 15 YEARS old when Lil G went pro... Let that sink in your thick skull.
              LOL I don't disagree with that. But the fight should happen at 160. 155 is not going to happen so there's no point in proposing it.

                Not really since you seem to think a 164 CW of fighters from two different weight classes is the same as two fighters in the same division fighting in a CW.

                  Why would you say such a ****** thing kid ?

                  In fact, how dare you - OF ALL PEOPLE - accuse someone else of flip-flopping like a b1tch, because that is EXACTLY what you did!

                  Guys, check out HeroBando supporting Pac's catchweights at 147/154.....
                  Pac wasn't a mandatory doe. Lineal belt doe.

                    BTW, Canelo has a better chance of beating GGG than Gennady has of beating Ward.
