He would somehow need to go the distance and try and get the decision, which he would if it's anywhere near close.

I've heard people say outbox him and try to counter him while on the move. I don't think so. Canelo doesn't have great foot speed or anything, and the last thing you want is Golovkin stalking you. He has such good footwork when cutting off the ring that he can almost put you where he wants and trap you. You would need to be exceptionally quick and basically running to hopefully not get trapped. Canelo isn't that kind of fighter.

The best thing to do is try and get GGG fighting on the back foot like Stevens did a few times but it would mean trading with him more at times and sustaining the ability to keep him going backwards, and i can't see that working out too well either.

I honestly don't see how Canelo can beat him. I would actually give someone like Lara a better chance but i think even he would eventually get cornered and take a beating. I just think Canelo would take a beating eventually at some point in the fight.

GGG beats Canelo in everything but hand sped and combos. But I hardly doubt GGG will give Canelo oppurtunity to set up combos and Canelo doesn't have the type of hand speed to cause him problems.

Canelo major weakness is his lack of killer instinct and I feel GGG will walk him down and stop him late with few little resistance.
Calm the f down Canelo has never been dropped but gg is going to stop him? Lol Loeffler really is out here selling dreams

Pulling up amateur stats? Maybe Canelo would have a decent shot, if it were a 4 round fight judged in Texas.

Canelo is a much better boxer,GGG is slow, but he can cut the ring off well,BUT Canelo doesnt move much anyway...GGG has good punching power but if Canelo keeps his defense tight and avoids most of the heavy shots he can win on points

All I know is the winner would get to say "now who's the real Mexican" and it would be epic

No one is unstoppable but I can clearly see GGG skills > Canelo's. And it's a fact Canelo has no killer instinct. He's built like a tank but he scared to get hit.

You really think a guy with almost 400 fights is going to befuddled by Canelo of all people.

I would give him a better chance if he foot speed but his main use of defense is head movement but that doesn't help him from body shots.

Canelo doesn't got that hard and really isn't the type to trade. So please tell me how would he win outside of a robbery decision.

It'll be one sided and everyone knows that.

Canelo strings him combos together tighter, faster and is more accurate...GGG has more power true, but honestly thats it

Aren't gg fans quick to pull up his amateur record and his little silver medal? You said gg can't be out boxed and I posted someone that had
