I don't think he can beat him (if the standard GGG comes in). GGG is a good counter puncher, power punching boxer.

however the only way i can see him beating GGG is coming in close literally try and push GGG around and do the forehead to forehead fight because i think that Canelo probably has better combination punching so he can be close and personal and not give any space to GGG and throw 3-5 punch combo (or more) then get right in there. will be a tough fight but that is his only way to win, no way he outboxes GGG it has to be a dog fight and he can probably hurt GGG to the body.

anyways those are my two cents.

Either he gets GGG attention with his counter punching which will allow him to outbox GGG given that GGG hesitates or.....using pure defense and using his boxing skills. I will say, if GGG is able to connect at will, he stops Canelo.

You really think a guy with almost 400 fights is going to befuddled by Canelo of all people.

I would give him a better chance if he foot speed but his main use of defense is head movement but that doesn't help him from body shots.

Canelo doesn't got that hard and really isn't the type to trade. So please tell me how would he win outside of a robbery decision.

It'll be one sided and everyone knows that.

You don't know what boxing is outside of Floyd.

Canelo beats a shot welterweight now all of a sudden he beats a prime middleweight that makes sense

So I'm guessing you'll be placing money on Canelo to beat GGG?

So you admit to falling to a tactic you don't like in order to make an argument.
