Andre Ward can fight guys like Kovalev all he wants but G has a good chance of fighting the P4P #2 fighter in the world and possibly the guy who sells the most PPV #'s that will be two PPV's in a row GGG has been in how upset will you be about that whilst Ward will be fighting some unknown gardener or taxi driver.

Golovkin knocked out Bute in 3 rounds, Ward wouldn't fight him, GGG beat the skilled Andre Dirrell in the Olympics too.

I think the people already forgot how frigging terrible Ward's fights are. There's a reason nobody watches his fights. If he fights his next tuneup plumber people will be pissed off again having to watch Ward clinch, headbutt, and spoil the fight as much as he can.
