If Rameriz wins a title, the Mexican fans would support it. It'd do better than 150k at any rate.
GGG haters are hell bent on Golovkin fighting Ward, when he's clearly shown he doesn't want that risk/reward yet. If that's all you got against GGG, then I don't see the point of hating on him for something like this because the Ward/Golovkin ship has sailed for now, unless Ward can drop from 175 to 168 like Chad Dawson did.
Tell me again why Ward didn't offer Golovkin a fight after he signed with Roc Nations in March? Because in October before that he sent the email to HBO to be read after the Rubio fight - "Anyplace, anytime, anywhere".
GGG haters are the same guys who defend Floyd for not fighting Khan and so on a guy who was at his weight class then several others, its odds really nobody was asking Floyd to move up to fight 160 and If they did they'd be wrong.
Floyd doesn't need to move up to weight classes he hasn't fought at yet its his decision just like its Golovkin and Ward's just like it was Floyd decision to take that catchweight against Canelo, Canelo agreed and Floyd did as well, its just constant little boys on here that are constant 24/7 on their period.

Wlad became one of the biggest names and highest earners in boxing without any HBO PPV at all. No reason to believe that Golovkin couldn't do the same, if necessary.

golovkin vs ward is two former unified olympic medalist whom are undefeated champions in their respective divisions at times. ramirez does not bring that. ramirez hasnt dont much at 168 at this moment and winning a world title at 168 wont mean much to justify him as ppv fight especially if he fights abraham which would be generous if HBO considered it.
im not gonan stress golovkin vs ward but to say golovkin vs ramirez makes sense is asinine

Rameriz fights the Murray/Abraham winner in April/March. Meantime Golovkin needs to be rejected by Alvarez/Cotto, Lee/Saunders, Quillin/Jacobs, Eubank/O'Sullivan, and maybe even Lara.
TR would probably make this a ppv knowing they could tap into the Mexican market.
