and why would the wbc wait so long for the step aside money? Also how is it shameful on cotto? Canelo will still be the champ if he wins right
Its not like he didn't know that there would be a penalty for ducking GGG so he can fight Canelo. Of course he would have to pay a steep step aside money. He knew this from the start and still chose to side step GGG.

His ascertion that he thought only 125000 would be enough step aside cash is garbage, we were not born last night.

Cotto intended to duck GGG from the start. This is incredibly pathetic.

FACT: the ONLY guy who can win the WBC Middleweight Title, said this.....

" I have absolutely no interest in middleweight "

800k isnt that much, especially bearing in mind they have already profited from GGG stepping aside.
          What 800k ?

The 800k that Cotto himself said they had agreed to pay GGG/K2.

Roc Nation would be dumb not to pay it, and would most likely be sued if they dont.

exactly anyone with half a brain can see he never was and will never fight GGG. That's what this is all about. Fear of fighting GGG. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. Cotto win lose or draw was never going to fight GGG and if he's going to get striped he rather save some bucks and not pay. He was never a middle weight in the first place he cherry picked a gimpy damaged good fighter to win a belt. Should of vacated right after the fight then he could fight whoever he wants at any catch weight. Instead he disgraced himself by holding the belt hostage all this time. He brought this circus on himself
