Boxing is losing its best frontline warriors

    Matthysse quits vs Postol

    Rios quits vs Bradley

    Maidana has no motivation

Kind of sad just a year ago these 3 were some of the best action blood and guts warriors of the sport. Has big paydays killed the motivation/hunger for these warriors? We know it has for maidana

I dont blame Maidana, in all honesty I respect him more for that decision instead of trying to comeback and be out of shape and quit. Matthysse and Rios on the other hand, ondes madre...

I don't think we've seen the last of Matthysse. I think he could make some noise at 147.

It's been said before, too many wars shorten a fighters career.

rios was never a warrior, he was always a walking punching bag that just happened to have an iron chin.

Blood and guts are usually not very skilled and, like kamikaze pilots, their careers don't last long.
