The Ring belt trumps all for me. So the WBC can shove it.

You all wonder what made Cotto vacate the title?

GGG shook, Canelo shook, Ward shook, Froch shook, Sturm shook, Martinez shook, whole MW division shook.

Whenever in history did this happen that a fighter was so shook he dropped the lineal title because he was so scared of his mandatory?

I'm tired of repeating this: The Ring board already ruled that they will strip the Cotto/Canelo winner if he doesn't fight Golovkin next.

Otherwise Cotto remains lineal until he retires/moves down to 154/becomes inactive at 160.
I'm familiar with how it works. Just assumed Cotto will vacate 160 to avoid ggg, should he beat Canelo.. and Canelo will hold the lineal title hostage at catchweights...should he bear Cotto.

It doesn't look good for the middleweight lineal title.

You should change the picture in your signature, it shows a belt Cotto already dropped because he was scared to death of GGG.

Actually, Golovkin first called out the Martinez/Chavez Jr. winner.

Yah, but how is he shook when he's retired? Unless team Golovkin is trying to bring Martinez out of retirement for a fight, which I wouldn't put it past them lol
