Broner is posting videos of himself eating out strippers and wiping his ass with money. Let's be honest here.

And if you want to suggest that a fighter's skin colour affects his general popularity, then you're probably on to something. But the idea that companies consciously discriminate in that way doesn't add up. If it spikes their sales they couldn't care less.
    This.

Networks/corporations dgaf about skin colour. The only colour they care about is green.

Why the hell would, say, Nike, associate themselves with someone who markets himself specifically to be hated like FMjr. Or someone like Ward who doesnt market himself at all. How does that help their brand?

Roy used to be sponsored by Jordan when he was getting KO's why did they drop him? GGG got sponsored quickly because he has a much more fan friendly style than most black fighters aside from Bradley. They tend to have the slick, elusive style. Roy mentions it but doesn't put it into consideration.

Then the guy interviewing him says people wanting black fighters to behave a certain way which is true but it's not because they're flashy and got money. Look at Broner, has terrible sportsmanship, gets in trouble with the law outside of the ring, but you can't mention that. I don't have a problem with Floyd aside from the fact that he beats women outside of the ring. Really an unfair statement to say the public expects them to behave a certain way when you don't put those other things into perspective.

Keep wishing. The companies will go where the popularity is.
Since when were Filipinos or Russians popular? Companies choose who to market and who not If you put Floyd or ggg on a Wheaties box aint gonna be a huge difference in sales. GGG and apple? What makes you think someone would consider him when buying a computer? Just a choice and interesting the way choices go

I saw Andre Ward in Nike's biggest ever commercial.

So this needs to stop. Right now.

                Good question.

I think it's safe to say he didn't get that Subway commercial based on merit.

                  Black.
The most popular athletes in America are all black. The biggest names in American boxing history are black. Honestly, any argument claiming people don't want black American athletes to be popular has no basis at all, and especially in boxing where the biggest stars in the sport going back to the 60s are all black, every single one of them.

Racism is a huge problem in America for many things, but sports isn't one of them.

Pretty sure I've seen several African American athletes get tons of endorsements. Maybe people should start complaining why other Eastern Euros, Asian or Hispanic fighters don't get endorsements.

Some people are just feeling threaten. That's what it is.

Blacks are considered to be dogs in Russia. RDJ is only treated well because he is a ***** propaganda project. But normal blacks? They are treated like ****roaches. Most Russians think blacks are subhuman. Killing a black in Russia is not considered a big deal.
