Why would you want to see GGG beat up bums when there are better fights available? Again, canelo appears to be going in another direction, assuming he wins, which I think he will.

What if cotto upsets him? GGG isn't young. As a fan, do you really want to see him in with Lee, tuareno Johnson and fighters on that level?

Canelo and Cotto do not want to fight GGG because they think they may lose

GGG does not want to fight Ward because he thinks he may lose

Ward does not want to fight Kovalev because he thinks he may lose

If you're a boxing fan, you shrug, laugh, and see it for what it is: boxers making their best decision for their careers (as they think)

But if you're one dimensional fan of either, all of them are cowards except for your guy. Have to say it though, GGG fans are the worst at this.

Actually Triple G was ready to make the fight at 164..but Ward did the slick thing of fighting two-divisions ahead of Triple G to make the fight unrealistic..

CoWard has bigger problems..2 more cab drivers and Mr. GetsHisOpponentRejectedbyNSAC will be KO'd

Golovkin will sort out "issues" after the Cotto/Canelo... until the new year's eve...

I don't think so dude. They are more skilled and bigger. They would likely make GGG use more of his vast skillset. Most thought Lee lost to quillin.

If Lee or tuareno were on paths to fight Jacobs or quillin instead of GGG, you would have a much different opinion of them.

He might as well continue in middleweight. He isn't going to get any credit for beating those fighters. Plus the Dirrells lost their last meaningful fight and there is the HBO vs Haymon feud in the way.

I am waiting to see if the new HBO guy brings haymon back. If so, GGG should be put in with the quillin\jacobs winner.

I just don't see why he would keep fighting bums while waiting for a fight that almost everyone except ggg diehards thinks isn't going to happen.
