here is somebody getting "walked down:"

notice that he actually, you know, comes forward all night and gets his guy on the ropes? as opposed to jabbing him a few times and landing one shot before scurrying away

floyd's a great boxer. you guys are delusional if you think he walked canelo down. absolutely delusional.

i've provided plenty of support for the idea that leonard is a more rounded fighter. i laid out what a roudned fighter is, and demonstrated how leonard fits the criteria.

you said "floyd walked canelo down."

here's that fight. watch him walk canel down... while moving to the side and away for almost all of the fight

point out some stretches where he "walked him down." this will be entertaining. i've got to step out for a couple of hours. i'll return to see you struggle :lol!:
He did walk him down at times. I saw the fight. He also walked Judah and other fighters down because he is a multi-dimensional fighter that is able to mix up and vary his attack. You probably think walking down means walking in face first Margarito style. Stop trying to deflect your idiotic statement that Mayweather and Whitaker are one-dimensional fighters. How ironic somebody making such a ridiculous statement can talk about someone else being taken seriously.

Leonard obviously has the better resume, ranks higher as an ATG, was a superior athlete and was more potent offensively but I still favor Floyd's defense, counter punching ability and ability to adapt.

ray leonard was floyd mayweather with more activity, a better chin, and with the abiliyt o be aggressive and knock people out. floyd can't do what he can do, but he could do what floyd did. he outboxed bigger, better boxers than floyd ever could. he also knocked tommy hearns out, and took his gas! not miguel cotto, not canelo alvarez, tommy hearns.
ray leonard got hit with too many shots at times, him and Floyd didn't fight alike. he was naturally bigger than Floyd with more power. I say Floyd at 135 was more of a complete fighter

you clearly don't know what walking a man down even means if you think that's what floyd did to canelo.

when did he walk him down. the entire fight is there at an angle that allows you a very good profile of the ring. when? give me some rounds / stretches of rounds.

ray leonard fought some of the very best fighters of all time. those are the guys who got to him. his competition faced is lightyears beyond floyd's. tommy hearns would knock floyd mayweather out. you don't know boxing if you don't think that's the case. there's nothing a shoulder roll is goign to do to stop a 6'1" dude with the best right hand of all time and a HW reach. floyd would end up on the ropes and eventually on the ground.

The irony doe. This is what you consider walking down:

Since that's what your looking for that's why your not finding it. You can walk an opponent down without having the intent to brawl or force him to the ropes.

this is not walking a man down, dude.

point me to rounds where he's walking alavrez down. make the case that he's doing that with enough frequency to say that his strategy was to walk canelo down, and that floyd is a well rounded fighter because he can walk people down.

i undertand that floyd mayweather fans change the defnition of words to portray a guy they idolize in a greater light. i don't do that sh#t. let's see what you've got for actual arguments.

as predicted, you've yet to provide any sequences of rounds where floyd walks canelo down.

Whoa!!! When did I say it was his strategy? My argument was that he is a complete fighter that can mix it up. He walked him down at times and gave him different looks.

See your moving the goal posts because you know you're wrong. You made a dumb comment about Floyd being a one dimensional fighter and now you're exposing yourself for not knowing what walking down means. Walking down is not moving forward and brawling as you are insinuating.

You have no clue what the **** your talking about no matter how many smileys and "flowmo" insults you throw around.
