People are being obtuse. He certainly didn't overlook the fact that Pacquiao is an asian, as it is something he pointed out. Rather than point out a mistake, that isn't there, why don't you pick up a history book on the history between black and white people.

Whether people want to admit it or not, there are those that subscribe to belief in a racial hierarchy. At the top of the hierarchy would be white people and at the bottom of the list would be black people. A person who subscribes to that theory would gladly support asian fighter over a black fighter.

I think with Kov, GGG and Loma it wasn't color so much as it was cheap labor. If either of them were American, they'd expect to be paid much more for the ratings they get.

If HBO can get 1.3 mil people to watch on a Saturday night, its better for them to pay the main draw $1 mil than it is $2 mil. That is just smart business.
